Frank Thomas Got Paid For This Analysis

The Kansas City Royals beat the New York Mets in Game 5 of the World Series last night 7-2 in an epic last-minute, late-inning clusterf&^k of a 9th inning leading into multiple extra innings.

Matt Harvey threw 8 shutout innings for the Mets, but in retrospect (hindsight is 20/20), he stayed on the mound one inning too long.  The Royals scored 2 runs in the top of the 9th to tie things up, then shutout the Mets in the bottom half of the inning taking Game 5 into extra innings.  Three scoreless innings later and Kansas City exploded for 5 runs in the top of the 12th to take the lead and win the World Series.

Frank Thomas, First-ballot-Hall of Famer……brilliantly analyzed and recapped the game as well as the entire series with a Shakespearean bag of mouth-words:

Whoops.  Maybe wait til the game is over before tweeting about the END of the game?  What’s the old saying…..”it’s not over til the bad tweeter tweets”???
